Klekamp Family Military and Veterans Center
Easterseals Redwood opened the region’s first of its kind Military & Veteran Center to serve veterans, military, and their families. This state-of-the-art facility provides one location for services, support, and resources – eliminating “navigation frustration.”
The safe, welcoming environment offers multiple on-site resources, including:
- Legal assistance
- Mental health support
- Housing referrals
- Military documentation referrals
Veterans, military, and family members will build camaraderie and community in our 7,000 sq. ft. space designed uniquely for them. The facility includes:
- Fitness center
- Gaming room
- Computer lab
- Laundry and shower facilities
- Cafe
- Huddle and conference rooms
- Multi-purpose room for community engagement events
We need a dedicated group of volunteers who are passionate about helping veterans or simply passionate about making a difference! You don’t have to be a veteran or have any military affiliation to volunteer — just respect and caring for our vets and their families.
There will be daily shifts Monday-Friday for positions at the Welcome Desk and for programs at the Center. Each shift will be 2-3 hours, and our Vet Center Volunteers will help with sign-in for use of our facilities, direct guests to areas of the center, and check- in appointments with our community partners.
