Transition-Age Youth Employment

There are many factors that can hinder a successful transition from high school to beyond for youth with disabilities, including limited access to opportunities, lack of professional connections, and difficult family situations. Our goal is to break down these barriers by providing resources and connections for transitional youth age 16 to 24.

Kitting and Fulfillment Centers

Our teams are experienced in both small batch and large batch packaging and fulfillment. We handle complex kitting, ERP software integration, inventory control, and logistics support for material pick-ups and delivery.

We compete with and work with for-profit businesses and understand the importance of quality, timeliness, and cost-effective solutions. We do all this, while at the same time, providing on-the-job training and a safe, supportive, and fully-inclusive working environment for people with disabilities, veterans, and people facing economic disadvantages — a valuable step on the path to long-term employment.

Our packaging, fulfillment, and logistics services include:

  • Order fulfillment
  • Kit and display assembly
  • Lot tracking and batch coding
  • Inventory management
  • Shrink wrapping, bundling, and poly-bagging
  • Collating, heat sealing, and labeling

Hospitality Services Training Program

Our Hospitality Services Training program offers participants, both with and without disabilities, a path to employment in the hospitality industry through case management, career development, hands-on training, and certifications.

Our region’s hospitality sector is large, and jobs are hard to fill because there are not enough workers. This program provides solid skills training for people in our community looking for long-term careers. It includes the chance to gain in-demand certifications that set you apart from other applicants and the chance to work alongside peers with and without disabilities,

Through partnerships with area hotels, the Hospitality Services Training program is increasing our community’s understanding and appreciation of inclusivity and the vast capabilities of people with disabilities.
