Brighter Futures Celebration 2024: Honoring Stories of Resilience and Success

This year’s Brighter Futures Celebration was a night to remember! Hosted at the iconic American Sign Museum, the event highlighted some of the incredible breakthroughs achieved by Easterseals Redwood clients in 2024.

Through inspiring stories and award presentations, we celebrated the transformative impact of our programs, which empower individuals to dream bigger, achieve more, and actively contribute to their communities.

  • Steven Anderson: Steven built his confidence through our Work and Grow program. In recognition of his success and embodiment of Easterseals Redwood’s core values, Steven received the Spirit of Easterseals Redwood Award.
  • Mia: After joining Easterseals Redwood to earn her GED, Mia connected with the Booker T. Washington Community Center through our employment services.We were thrilled to celebrate her achievements with the Independence Award.
  • Don: An Army veteran, Don found his purpose again through Easterseals Redwood’s Military and Veteran Services. Don’s resilience and determination earned him the Upward Mobility Award.
  • Clark: As our first child recipient of a Brighter Futures award, Clark embodies the spirit of growth and perseverance. Clark has made remarkable progress with therapies and preschool services at Easterseals Redwood, and was honored with the Growing Abilities Award.

Looking Ahead

Next year, we’ll continue this tradition of celebrating resilience by airing this year’s stories in a short commercials throughout the season. In the meantime, you can revisit last year’s awardees on TV!
